What music gets you moving? UPDATED

Well on facebook, twitter and my blog I had some wonderful response to my request for motivational music for the day of London to Brighton.

Heres the current list.

  • journey, so many fab songs. And appropriate for L to Br.
  • Don’t Stop by Fleetwood Mac and A good bit of Status Quo too reccomended by the lovely Nickie at Typecast
  • Queen We are the Champions
  • Sexy Bitch – Akon
  • Any Justin Timberlake! Or Madonna. Or that keep on Running song that used to be on the Duracell ads Good luck hun x – From the lovely 20somethingmum
  •  ‘Rock this party’ by Bob sinclar?!
  •  Em, Don’t Stop believing. Either by the Glee cast or Journey. Always gets me moving. – From Foodie Mum
  • “Dakota” by The Stereophonics, and “I gotta feeling” The Black Eyed Peas always make me feel happy! Good luck with the bike ride – what a great thing to do. From Suze
  • Dog Days Are Over by Florence and The Machine is my current song to get me moving in the mornings! From PRYMFACE
  • Don’t stop me now by Queen – always makes me go slightly faster on the exercise bike! lol! NotsoSingleMum
  • I listened to Get Down by Paul Johnson before doing my fastest ever 3km back in the days when I was a superfast racewalker! I love Paper Planes by MIA, I don’t often listen to my ipod when I’m running, but when I do I put that on when I’m struggling and it makes me go faster. Get 25 Miles by Edwyn Starr on there too, that will get you going! Kath@ParkLover
  • “tour de France” by kraftwerk…As suggested by @steve_perry_

So thats quite a few so far! But at worst I am going to be on the bike 7 hours so I need MORE suggestions!

If it has some groove or has motivational words to it! I wanna know!

Look forward to reading more suggestions … PLEASE
