Today I went out and brought a kettle bell. I was also looking for a foam roll for calf exercises but the store didn’t have any! I went with a 5kg kettle bell seeing as 8kg was definitely out but they didn’t have anything else and I really wanted one!
I had absolutely no idea what the hell I was supposed to do with this thing so of course turned to trusty YouTube. Seriously how does anyone sell a fitness DVD when nearly every workout is on YouTube! I browsed a few which looked boring as hell, or also included too much leg work. I needed to rest my legs today, annoyingly. My right shin/calf has been incredibly painful. It even hurt driving today and with London to Brighton on Sunday I can’t have any injuries!
I did a bit of googling which suggests its because if the amount I’ve been running this month and the sudden increase in exercise amount that could be why it’s painful. It is frustrating though as I really would have liked to have gone for a run today but oh we’ll wasn’t meant to be!
The kettlebell was good fun and I am going to use it daily to tone up my arms if anyone has any good exercises I would love to hear them!
