Today was one of those gentle days. Tomorrow I’m cycling 54 miles to Brighton. 56 if you count from the car to the start line. I’m not looking forward to it. Why? Because I know how mentally tough it is. In training I’ve done up to 20 miles so I should be ok up until then in theory. Just got to double it and a bit more.
Today I’ve been for a walk an done more kettlebell work. I could feel an awareness in my core from yesterday and I was surprised at how much of a workout it is. It’s quite fun too! I could easily get hooked on it. A few people have said to me that I needed to do some strength work so at least I’m onto that. And now it’s time for bed!
